Seth J Epstein is a storyteller and educator with a lifetime of experience in the performance arts and film industry. He develops and crafts films and distinct student voices through a commitment to honest and character-driven narratives, while taking advantage of the tools of an evolving digital future.
His filmmaking career includes work in Hollywood across a variety of shows, as well as years with DC Comics as an in-house camera operator, director of photography, and production supervisor.
The films he has directed or contributed to have been featured domestically and internationally at festivals including SXSW, and have received multiple industry awards.
He also has experience in copywriting, including work for multiple HBO productions. A versatile creator, he works across directing, cinematography, writing, editing, and producing, always committed to making films that are beautiful, unique, and honest.
